Past Webinar

Overview

Student agency refers to the provision of authentic, student-centered, meaningful experiences with the primary goal of helping students to direct their own learning. Some refer to this as using student voice. Why are you active?” Have you ever asked your students that….and listened? This simple question has so much potential for changing how we do physical education and they are all based on student agency or voice. This activity-based session will provide many strategies for using student voice to guide students on a journey that makes physical activity an important part of their lives. Student agency as the foundation for “assessments on the move” will be provided as well. In essence, this session will mesh physical education and student agency in an engaging, action-packed manner.
