Overview

Teens with Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs) in post-secondary institutions are unique and their educational task demands are similarly unique and varied. All of them have got several common issues: writing long assignments and spelling issues; difficulty in reading journal articles; rote memory issues; organization of facts to write an assignment; and needing extra time to finish tasks and examinations. These issues impede their academic work and is a contributing factor to the quality and quantity of work being less than expected.
