Catherine and Trish been designing interdisciplinary units, projects, and field experiences for Grades 6-12 for 25 years. One thing is true: it’s difficult to get right, and there is more nuance than meets the eye.

In this presentation, they will share 3 main lenses that they used to look through when determining whether a hot topic, grand challenge, or wicked problem can effectively transform into a workable and stimulating interdisciplinary learning experience. We welcome everyone interested in these tips and will center our discussion around STE(A)M and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for Upper School levels.
