Purposeful Games for Early Childhood

Past Webinar

Overview

During this session, participants will have the chance to unpack some research-based concepts that should govern what we do in Early Childhood HPE. The session will focus on essentials for students at the age of three, four, and five years old, as indicated by current research. We will also look at what teachers should embed in games in order to be able to grow the whole child and help them develop their full potential by the time they reach Grade 1. Concrete examples of games will be given for each particular age, as well as some of the “Dont’s” we should stay away from as teachers. Handouts will be given based on the games described during the session.
