Instructional Coherence through Subject Area Instructional Design and Practice
The International Educators Institute Asia is a transformative professional learning experience grounded in a two-day workshop in Bangkok, February 6-7, 2026. This event focuses on building instructional coherence through subject-specific instructional design and practice.
Join us for a dynamic institute designed to help you plan and deliver high-impact, inclusive instruction
You’ll use Fullan’s 6 Cs—Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, Citizenship, and Character—as your foundation and explore how these pillars of deeper learning connect with ACER’s High-Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS) and are brought to life through discipline-specific practices and routines. With the integration of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and AI tools, you’ll leave with a ready-to-implement framework that meets the diverse needs of all learners.
Program Overview
You will start by engaging in some preliminary research ( reading, watching, listening) and goal setting in January 2026. We will come together for two days in Bangkok in early February 2026 and finally, cohort coaches will support your implementation with office hours between February and April 2026.
Impact
We encourage schools to send a team of people to bring back cross disciplinary understandings and ideas. Participants will leave with instructional coherence know-how as well as implementation and facilitation support for their contexts.
Join a cohort of subject area peers to connect multiple educational frameworks and remove the silos to unit design and instructional practices.
