Learn how to tune a Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) Admin Console according to international data protection best practice, including GDPR & PDPA, and other regional regulations.

About

This workshop is designed specifically for schools. Learn how to tune a Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) Admin Console according to international data protection best practice, including GDPR & PDPA, and other regional regulations. Participants will also learn how to tune the Workspace Admin Console for maximum success and maximal protection. The design of this workshop is predicated on the idea that data protection decisions should be made by a team of which IT is a crucial part but not necessarily the lead, and that decisions about IT systems (in this case Google Workplace) have direct implications for teaching and learning.

Data protection is a mission-critical area of school operation but one which is often ignored by Leadership Teams and left by default to the IT Department. Leadership Teams expose themselves and the organisation to unacceptable risks if they ignore this area of operation planning. Leave the workshop with insights into how to make your Workspace Admin secure, compliant and optimised for learning.

If you are a school using Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) and are not certain you have the policies and positions in place and Google Admin configured best practice for data protection you should register for this workshop.

If you don’t have a designated data protection team or Data Protection Officer in place this would be a suitable place to start. If you are unsure who should be coming please reach out to ask.

All registrations are entitled to a free 30-minute follow-up consultation with 407 Learning and C-Learning to further explore their specific needs and concerns.

This workshop is part of an exciting series on 21st Century Schools.
