I always start planning by asking myself those simple questions: What do I want my students to learn? How can I make this work for everyone? How will I know they have learned, and how will they know what they have accomplished? What resources and tools will I curate?

Sarah Verdoïa is a language enthusiast with a background in literature, didactics of foreign language and linguistics. Guiding students towards their future with presence, love and humor, she has shared and fulfilled her passion for cultures and communication as a Spanish, Swedish and French teacher. She believes that languages are opportunities to explore our understanding of the world, connect with people, build relationships as well as to discover oneself. Her educational interests are student agency, collaborative learning and mindful assessment while she is growing into coaching. She is currently exploring Mandarin and what AI is bringing to language learning. She lives in Dubai. When not teaching, she enjoys the seaside, playing the piano and heading to any cold country.
