My greatest strength is my sense of adventure. This applies to everything I do from trying a new kind of food, exploring different places, and innovation in the classroom. This curiosity and exploration help me to continually learn, grow, and always ask questions. I am honored to be an ISTE Certified Educator because I believe it exemplifies what it means to be an innovative educator where the focus is on pedagogy instead of the tools. I look to continue this journey from my previous schools in the USA, Norway, Israel, and now Hong Kong in the next school year. I am grateful to be a part of the ISTE community. With over 14 years of teaching experience globally including the United States, South Korea, Norway, and Israel, Andrea’s teaching journey has led her on a path to continuously reimagine the way we learn. As a Reggio-inspired leader and Apple Distinguished Educator, her love for deep pedagogical conversations has driven her to transform learning environments, promote collaboration, integrate technology, and personalize learning. At Walworth Barbour American International School in Israel, Andrea is currently leading her team to set up learning spaces that inspire innovation and inquiry as an Early Years Director.
