Global Education Leadership Summit – A Review

21st Century Learning International recently expanded on its initiatives aimed at educators by designing a conference aimed at current, and aspiring school leaders. On 21 & 22 April, The Global Education Leadership Summit (21CGELS) was held at the timeless Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok. The conference served as a platform to connect education leaders with innovative schools from around the world, and to equip them with ideas & strategies that they could implement to lead innovation initiatives at their institutions.

The conference saw 120 participants representing 63 schools and organisations, with workshops focussing on network leadership, applied learning, experiential learning, schools-within-school programs and entrepreneurship education. The conference was well received by the participants. Holly Reardon, the Elementary School Assistant Principal at Western Academy of Beijing said:

The conference was amazing! I as excited to see the work of so many innovative thinkers. I was truly inspired and can’t wait to share with others back at school. The size of the conference created intimacy that allowed for deeper connections that will last beyond the two days. I’m already marking my calendar for next years event!

Dates for the 2nd Annual Global Education Leadership Summit have been confirmed for 15 – 17 March, 2018.
